With no spiritual "woo woo" (although I'm happy to share the philosophy behind the eight parts of yoga), no pretezeling, no 90 minute classes and no use of the "c word". (The "c word" is cure.) We don't use that word around here. We are looking for tools to help us manage our well being. And yoga offers these.

This is yoga and meditation designed by a chronic pain and fatigue fighter based on what works for her, for chronic pain and fatigue fighters. As accessible as possible.

Choose your length of class (one pose, 5- 10- 15- 20 minutes), type of class (bed, chair, mat etc), or a meditation/breathing practice and take the time for your self-care.

Stream it on your phone, tablet or computer.

A little bit about Melissa

I have been sharing my journey as a chronic challenge fighter, mama and busy woman for several years. I have been practicing and reaping the benefits of yoga and meditation for years. It is a dream to share this with you.

I lost so much of my life waiting for a diagnosis, waiting for a doctor to help, waiting for research to show me what to do and then trying all the things.

When does the course start and finish?
This is a virtual wellness studio - as long as you are a member you will have access to all of the classes including all of the new content added every month.
How long do I have access to the programme?
You will have access to all existing content immediately with new content added monthly. You will continue to have access for as long as you are a member.
What if I am unhappy with the programme?
You may cancel at any time. This is designed with you in mind, if you genuinely give it a go, I believe you will see benefit. If you feel that it is not for you within the first 30 days you can request a refund. No harm, no foul.

Do I need to check with my physical therapist/doctor?
Yes please, you do need to be cleared to exercise. It is a good idea to run the idea of doing yoga by your medical professional.
What is mindful movement?
It means continually checking in with yourself and being aware of how you are moving and how it is impacting you. You are in charge of your body. Does something feel too strong? Pull it back. Does something feel great? Feel free to hold it a little longer. Cultivating awareness of movement is really beneficial for us.
So what do I get?
Yoga and mindfulness classes designed especially for you! Available where ever you have your phone, tablet or computer! How do I access the group coaching (Q&A) sessions?
Simply click the link to join the live video when they are running! These will run once per month, at alternating times to help those in different time zones get a chance to show up, virtually for 45 minutes (or sooner if all of the questions are answered!). I will send you an email so you know when they are happening. You may send me questions prior to the session or ask during the session. You may ask questions about your practice, about future classes and about your chronic symptom journey. I can't guarantee I have all the answers but hopefully I can point you in the right direction for more information.
What does "therapeutic" classes mean?
This simply means classes designed for a specific purpose - I am always researching and practicing in my own body for classes for a specific aim such as bedtime yoga to help sleep, yoga for when you need to stay in bed, yoga for your back etc.
