I take the tools of yoga and use them for what I need as a person with chronic pain, fatigue, insomnia and anxiety, and in my classes and toolkits, I teach you to do the same.

  • Standing slow flow class (no wrists, no floor)
  • A chair supported slow flow class (blending standing and sitting in the chair)
  • Mindful movement with relaxation class (finishing off with legs on a chair restorative pose)
  • Legs on a chair pose on it's own for those days when you just want a rest

This is a course not a live class, and as such I cannot see you, except for what you share. Plus, even in a class the teacher doesn't know what you are experiencing so you are always in charge.
Do I need to check with my physical therapist/doctor?
Yes please, you do need to be cleared to exercise. It is a good idea to run the idea of doing yoga by your medical professional.
Is this different to the Seated Yoga Series?
Yes. This is a perfect complement and next-level to the Seated Yoga Series in which you are exclusively seated. In this Build Strength with the Chair Series we do a combination of standing and seated.
