Legs on a chair relaxation

Legs on a chair is so good!! You can do it on your bed with your legs on a couple of high cushions or at the wall with your legs straight, or as demonstrated with a chair. It is such a good releasing pose. If you are doing this pose at the wall with your legs straight, and your feet begin to tingle, gently bring the soles of your feet to meet each other and, bending your knees, slide the feet toward your pelvis.

There isn't an agreement on whether or not this should be avoided during menstruation - practice as is comfortable for you.

You may stay in this pose for 5-15 minutes. It is great for a rest during the day, before bed or part of a restorative routine.

If you have severe neck and shoulder problems ensure they are comfortable - if you feel discomfort please stop.
